"Mrs. Mary E. Reiman, 72, of Berlin RD 1, died Feb. 12, 1977, in Somerset Hospital. She is survived by her husband Clarence E. and a son Dale Glessner from Leititz; also by these stepchildren: Mrs. Ray (Janet) Bates St. Louis Mo.; Mrs. Roy (Helen) Engle, Berlin RD 1; Mrs. Irene Evans, Stoystown RD 3; Clair, Berlin RD 1 and Mrs. John (Doris) Coby, Canton O.; three grandehildren 14 step grandchildren. She was a member of the Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren and the Womens Fellowship of that Church. Friends will be received at the Johnson and Son Funeral Home in Berlin after 7 p.m. (today) Wednesday, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Owen Preston officiating. Interment, Pike Cemetery."

Born March 26, 1912 in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of Ralph Frank and Naomi (Baltzer) Trent, Sr. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Charles Conrad Whipple, who died June 1, 1967; one son, Charles William Whipple, who died Jan. 20, 1968 and two brothers, Clifford Trent and Ralph F. Trent Jr. Survived by daughters Mrs. Robert B. (Elinor) Rosbaugh of Putnam Hall, Fla. and Ms. Barbara Romaine McCall of Somerset; granddaughters, Carli Ann Rosbaugh Damien of Alachua, Fla.; Jan Marie Rosbaugh Salas of Plantation, Fla.; Marcianne Rosbaugh Andrews of Atlanta, Ga.; Jeanne Alison McCall Parmeter of Sacramento, Calif.; Elizabeth Ann McCall Tassan of Davis, Calif.; and Gwendolyn Whipple Christner Free of Eugene, Ore.; and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ernest L. Trent of Somerset and Mrs. Ethel Goehring of Greenville, Pa. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. A 1930 graduate of Somerset High School. A member of the first class of the National Honor Society. Attended Cambria-Rowe Business School. Long interested in local artists' groups and will be remembered for her exquisitely decorated eggs. No viewing or visitation. There will be a graveside service at 3 p.m., Saturday, to share the blessing of Tekhla's life at Husband Cemetery, Somerset, with Rev. Robert L. Hoover officiating. Interment Husband Cemetery. Please omit flowers and make contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Church Minister's Discretionary Fund, 918 Tayman Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
