Seier; and these children: Minnie May Yachere, Friedens; and Mrs. Charles (Luella) G. Speicher of Somerset; grandsons, Scott Yachere and Tom Speicher; also four great-grandchildren. Member of the Listie Lutheran Church; life member of Listie Volunteer Fire Department; Sweet Sixties; the UMWA; and Constructions Labor Union, Local 419. Death ended a marriage of 56 years. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m Sunday with the Rev. Somerset, Nov. 13, - Somerset's last resident to use a horse and buggy had his last ride Saturday night when Wilson H. Trent, 67, was fatally injured when his buggy was struck by a car west of the city limits. The car was siad to have been driven by W.F. Barnhart of Somerset. Thrent was well known as a singer having appeared on many occasions on the Greensburg radio station."

Charter member of Grace Brethren Church, past president of Listie Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, past president of All County Ladies Auxiliary, president of County Ladies Auxiliary Relief Fund, Democratic Committeewoman for 13 years in precinct No. 2 and was secretary for Laborer's Union No. 419, Listie, for 38 years. Graduated with the class of 1946, Somerset Township High School. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Grace Brethren Church with the Rev. Clifford Wicks and the Rev. Robert Thomas officiating. Interment, Mizpah Cemetery. Body will lie in state at the church Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service."

Survived by three sons, William of Ulysses, Pa., Richard of Rockwood and John L. of Millvale, Pa., three daughters, Mrs. Homer (Ruth) Brant, Rockwood, Mrs. Evelyn Thomas, Latrobe and Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) Stutzman, Somerset RD 5, also by two nieces, Miss Evelyn Feller, Alexandria, Va. and Mrs. Betty Leighty of Bedford County, 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, John L. in June 1948, also by three sons, one brother and two sisters. Lifelong member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood, and a member of the senior citizens group of Rockwood. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and until 10 a.m. Thursday when the remains will be removed to St. Luke's Lutheran Church for services at 11 a.m. with Rev.
