Also preceded in death by a brother, Orange, and two sisters, Vera and Alma. Survived by his wife, the former Mary (Dollie) E. Seier; and these children: Minnie May Yachere, Friedens; and Mrs. Charles (Luella) G. Speicher of Somerset; grandsons, Scott Yachere and Tom Speicher; also four great-grandchildren. Member of the Listie Lutheran Church; life member of Listie Volunteer Fire Department; Sweet Sixties; the UMWA; and Constructions Labor Union, Local 419. Death ended a marriage of 56 years. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m Sunday with the Rev. Robert Thomas and the Rev. Clifford Wicks officiating. Interment, Mizpah Cemetery."

Survived by wife, the former Shirley Louise Foy Fisher; and these children: Dale, Lori and Richard Jr., all at home. Brother of: Mrs. Tobias (Minnie) Russo, Bronx, N.Y.; Mrs. Kenneth (Metta) Lambert, Shanksville; Mrs. Donald (Lenora Jane) Firestone of Geneva, Ohio; Mrs. Robert (Orpha) Rubright, Somerset RD 5; Leroy H. "Last Horse, Buggy Struck By An Auto; Its Owner Killed

Somerset, Nov. 13, - Somerset's last resident to use a horse and buggy had his last ride Saturday night when Wilson H. Trent, 67, was fatally injured when his buggy was struck by a car west of the city limits. The car was siad to have been driven by W.F. Barnhart of Somerset. Thrent was well known as a singer having appeared on many occasions on the Greensburg radio station."

Survived by a son, Scott B., married to Mary Ann Vicic of Friedens RD l; two grandchildren, Tiffany Marie and Justin Scott. Sister of Mrs. Charles (Luella) Spiecher, Somerset RD 2. Charter member of Grace Brethren Church, past president of Listie Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, past president of All County Ladies Auxiliary, president of County Ladies Auxiliary Relief Fund, Democratic Committeewoman for 13 years in precinct No. 2 and was secretary for Laborer's Union No. 419, Listie, for 38 years. Graduated with the class of 1946, Somerset Township High School. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Grace Brethren Church with the Rev. Clifford Wicks and the Rev. Robert Thomas officiating. Interment, Mizpah Cemetery. Body will lie in state at the church Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service."

"Ellis R. Trent Sr., 65, of Friedens RD 2, died May 31, 1989, at home. He was born May 23, 1924, in Stonycreek Township, son of Orange and Edna (Walker) Trent. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Ralph; and sister, Ruth. Survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Anna "Annie" Miller; and these children: Marlin J. Miller, married to the former Shirley Baumgardner of Friedens RD 2; Ellis Trent Jr., married to the former Donna Watson of Somerset; and grandson whom they raised, Todd Allan Trent, married to the former Debra Purbaugh; also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was associated with Faith Lutheran Church and was a retired truck driver for Delta Industries. A World War II Army veteran and was a life member of Somerset VFW, Post 554. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, STOYSTOWN. Viewing from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. on Friday at Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Charles J.
