"Frances P. Miller, 84, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, died Aug. 27, 1993, at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 15, 1909, in Elk Lick Township, daughter of the late George D. and Barbara Ellen (Handwerk) Engle. Preceded in death by her first husband, Elbert M. Reiman in 1953; second husband, Ray Corl and third husband, Morris M. Miller in 1988; a daughter, Elizabeth Grace Reiman, and a sister, Grace Cotter. Survived by daughters: Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Dumbauld, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Leroy W. (Mary Ann) Miller of Hermitage; stepdaughters: Mrs. Howard (Betty) Harman, Friedens RD 1; Mrs. Robert (Lois) Coddington of Somerset RD 6, Mrs. Ray (Nancy) Phillippi of Somerset RD 5 and Mrs. Charles (Linda) Thomas of Garrett RD 1; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. A brother, Roy M. Engle of Berlin RD 1. At one time owned and operated the Coffee Shop Restaurant in Somerset. A lifetime deaconess and member of the Pike Run Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday (today), at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Barry Conn and the Rev. Jay Christner officiating. Interment, Pike Cemetery, Brotherton."

"Audra M. (Enos) Keith Yoder, 79, of 10859 Coral Ridge Road. South Mountain, died Dec. 29. 2002 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 9, 1923 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary Ellen (Varner) Enos. Preceded in death by husbands, Lewis C. Keith, who was killed in action in France in 1944 during World War II, and William J. Yoder whom she married Feb. 4, 1946, in Cumberland, Md., who died in March 21, 1982, two infant daughters, one sister, Hazel Painter, and three brothers, Clyde Enos, Glenn Enos and Manford Enos. Survived by two daughters, Sandra L. Mentzer, South Mountain, and Gloria A. Shaffer, Brookville; three sons, Lewis C. Keith, New York City, N.Y., Glenn E. Keith, Scotland, Pa., and William L. Yoder, Waynesboro; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was in failing health for the past several years and critically ill since Nov. 11. A 1941 graduate of Somerset High School. She was employed at the South Mountain Restoration Center for 15 years in the dietary department before retiring in 1983. Member of the South Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary for the past several years. She also enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Mizpah Cemetery, Stoneycreek Township. Pallbearers will he Perry Mentzer, Curtis Kopecek, Donnie Freeman Jr., Peter Zepeda, Don Blizzard and Zach Yoder."

"Curtis Calvin Emerick, 70, of Stoystown RD 3, died Nov. 16,1980, in Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born Feb. 13, 1910, in Fairhope Twp., son of Frank and Barbara Ellen (Clites) Emerick. Preceded in death by his parents, son, daughter, five brothers and two sisters.
