Also survived by stepson, Robert C. Fike of Fort Hill; nephew, Max W. Beachy of Fort Hill; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Younkin and Mrs. Mary Minchell, both of Confluence. He was preceded in death by son, Paul E.; a brother and three sisters. He was a member of the Silbaugh Methodist Church. Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. The body lay in state at the Silbaugh Methodist Church where funeral services were held with the Rev. R. Samuel Wachter and the Rev. Roy C. Bowers officiating. Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery."
