"Viola B. Walker, 74, Olathe, Kan., formerly of Lancaster and Somerset, died Nov. 1, 1983, in Olathe, Kan. Born Oct. 19, 1909, in Macdonaldton, daughter of Henry and Clara (Hoyle) Albright. Preceded in death by her husband, Milton, in 1978; two brothers and two sisters. Survived by one son, Richard Walker, married to the former Dorothy Ray, Olathe, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Stanley (Thelma) Kowalczyk, Boswell. Member of Rayman Church of the Brethren and retired employee of the Intel Printing Co., Lancaster. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park."

"Dorothy M. Stutzman, 83, Friedens, formerly of Stonycreek Township, died March 4, 2004, at home. Born April 15, 1920, in Lincoln Township, daughter of Horace and Matilda (Leichty) Arden. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harold T. in 2000; brothers, John, Arthur and Clifford Arden, and sister, Grace Kimmel. Survived by children: Patti Ann married to Ronald Trent, William Harold married to the former Bonnie Lambert and Richard Walter married to the former Iris Miller, all of Friedens; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Rayman of Friedens. Graduate of Somerset High School. Former employee of Somerset Newberry's. Member of First Christian Church, Somerset. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Daniel Nicksich officiating.
